Air Canada Expands its Schedule to South America
Air Canada has announced its largest winter expansion to Latin America for the 2025–26 season, increasing seat capacity by 16 percent compared to last year. The updated schedule adds four new destinations including Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena, Guatemala City, and Guadalajara, along with 13 new routes from cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, Ottawa, and Vancouver. Additional routes include Santiago, Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Nassau, Montego Bay, and Huatulco. With over 55 daily flights and 80,000 weekly seats, Air Canada now offers the most extensive Latin America network of any Canadian carrier. The expansion is designed to support both leisure travel and international connections while tapping into growing cargo opportunities.
Delta's First Flight to Morocco
Delta is expanding its African network with the launch of its first-ever nonstop service from Atlanta to Marrakech, Morocco beginning October 25, 2025, and adding seasonal flights to Accra, Ghana starting December 1 to meet winter travel demand. The Marrakech route will operate three times weekly on a Boeing 767-400ER and offer Delta’s full range of cabin experiences including Delta One and Delta Premium Select. With one-stop connections from over 125 cities, the new service brings travelers closer to Marrakech’s rich culture, historic medinas, and nearby Atlas Mountains. Delta is also enhancing its Accra service with seasonal daily flights from Atlanta using the Airbus A330-900neo, complementing its existing year-round route from New York. These additions reflect Delta’s commitment to Africa and reinforce Atlanta’s role as a global hub, supported by continued investments in airport upgrades, expanded Sky Clubs, and free high-speed Wi-Fi on West African routes.
